Thought I'd teach myself some HTML and make a bitchin site unlike any other. After about six days at it, I've discovered that I can't learn something new without forgeting something I usd to know. I widened the margins on my site but then couldn't remember how zippers worked. So I just gave in and adopted another standard blogger template, which makes me lame and unoriginal

Touch You Last is back in business after a week's neglect. Expect all the regular features, with the exception of the continuing story which we all stopped caring about a long time ago. If you're crushed about that one, let me know and I'll ship the whole thing to you uncut and commercial free.

Peace out.

Zippers? Like the things on your jacket? Wow....

(Kidding! If you need advice about margins, let me know. I just finished teaching myself CSS, so I've got a tonne of useless programing language floating around here.)

Katie, I wear only heels as I can't even remember that.

Blogger is funny.
The front page looks great, but your second page formatting doesn't match.

WHAT THE HELL?

That being said, I like the new format.

And I'm glad you're back. Even though we had big boy playtime last week, I've had to carry the load of awesome blogging since you've been gone.

And that's pretty damned heavy.

Rebecca - I may take you up on that promise some time in the future, but for the present I remain feeling burned and stupid. One day I will swallow my pride and ask for help.

Jorge - I can always count on you to back me up. And also to make me look supergay.

Katie and I feel like red-headed stepchildren. Thanks for the returno-comments, Dave.

What can I say? When someone leaves a comment and it's very naturally funny, you leave it alone. You should know that I love you. But if that's not enought...

Kris: Word.
Katie: Word.

I should add...

... that two people were instrumental in my joining Twitter. First, Isha . She sent out an article on it when the application was still brand new. (And I remember thinking, "Screw that noise. Like I need more online commitments.) Second was Rebecca . She joined up just a short while ago, claiming she hadn't met a bandwidth she didn't like . (And then she disappeared entirely from the internets .) It looked nice and pretty over there on her sidebar, and then I got a little jealous. The rest: history. And for those unobservant among you ( Jorge ), the Twitter feed is right there on my sidebar, replacing the old Radio 3 player that I loved, but that I think scared the bejezus out of a lot of people. Also, everyone should join Twitter. I'm needing some diversions , people.
Change Two: Drink More Water Such a simple thing, yet something I just can't seem to find the time to do. About the only water I drink in your average day is whatever sweat happens to trickle off my mustache. Hydration (so the smart people tell me) is a good thing. I'm less fatigued when I drink water. I'm less hungry when I drink water. I'm even less grumpy when I drink water. I promise you nothing especially impressive. Eight glass a day ain't gonna happen. I'm shooting for two on average; two trendy, metallic, not gonna bleed Bisphenol A into my system bottles of water. I know were off to a rip-roaring start, what with the list-making and the hydration, but I'll try to get crazier with future changes. Stuff like: go to work drunk more, and buy a pair of leather pants. For now, let me ease into it.
